The next meeting will be:

Meeting # 142: Tuesday 13 March 2018
Time: 5.45pm – 7.30pm:

Venue: PTW Architects. Level 11, 88 Phillip Street, Sydney.

Please note this is a security building and attendees are encouraged to arrive before 6.30pm.

Agenda

5.45pm: Meet and Greet.

6.00pm: Welcome. Max Labecki, RUGS Chairman.

6.05pm: Brendan Upton from A2K Technologies
Brendan will present a demonstration of the Revit Add-in tool ClashMEP. ClashMEP is a clash detection tool that uses advanced data structures, deep integration into the Revit API and cloud technology to create new, collaborative and real-time coordination workflows. It integrates clash detection into your modelling workflows by providing real-time visual identification and reporting of clashes in Revit, without the need for a second platform like Navisworks or Solibri.

6.30pm: Anthony Bowden from Squillace Architects
Working with Groups in Revit can be a challenging and frustrating experience. Seeking to reduce this angst and cut short the learning time, Anthony went to the works of leading industry sources such as Aaron Maller, Ceilidh Higgins and RUGS own Tim Waldock to compile a list of Groups Best Practice. This list will be presented and discussed in an open forum. Don’t Fix Groups!

7.00pm: Brandon Heng PTW Architects
Our host, PTW, will showcase a recent project from their office……

7.30pm: Close
