Revit 2008 Crashing More Frequtley than 9.1

Postby D'zinner » 07 May 2007, 13:16

Anyone else having problems with revit 2008 (latest build) with frequent crashes & lockups, im having problems daily where my computer locks up & wigs out, and have no choice but to restart my computer. it seems to mainly happens when updating/ changing object in the Model ie. changing all 820 swing doors to cavity slider. I am real starting to get sick of Autodesk and their buggy software, I have had 5 years of Autocad (ManualCad) hell, and now its staring all over again with revit.
Bentley Architecture is starting to look good.

some changes to the graphics drivers - go to settings > options and then graphics. Make sure overlay planes are turned ON (and maybe OpenGL off, but try both ways). May help....

Hey, looks like I'll be in your part of the world in late June (either Bunbury or Busselton, I believe) doing some demo day or other for AEC Systems. Perhaps we can catch up.
Cheers,
Wes
