Ability to reflect sunlight off shiny surfaces.

Postby JohnB » 21 Sep 2009, 17:05

The ability to reflect sunlight of mirrored or other shiny surfaces in Revit Architecture would be useful.
(The lack of replies after 3 weeks on General Discussion leads me to believe this isn't currently possible)

Uses include light wells, Southern wall passive solar collectors, light + heat lightshelves etc, all the way to Concentrating Solar Thermal applications.

If we want smart buildings to replace dumb buildings these elements must be able to be modelled - with Revit's obvious solar study and place/date/time rendering ability these features could then be easily modelled and demonstrated to clients.
