Ability to Filter Linked File Instance Names in Schedules

Postby Roberto Pachon » 12 Jul 2007, 13:35

When creating door/window schedules in a host file, we need to be able to filter the linked file instance name as well so we can group the doors/windows information by building names.

This name filtering would be much more useful than just getting a global itemised list with grand totals.

The name filtering would speed up the documentation process by also allowing us to number the doors/windows of each linked building independently.
Each building can start from D1, D2, etc thus eliminating the need to coordinate the numbering of all doors/windows in a single sequence.

Thanks Wesley.
You have to dig a bit deeper to find it but yes, it certainly is there.
