room colour scheme not showing on lower split floor level

Postby wonderdog » 26 Oct 2012, 22:31

Hi All

This is my first post so please be kind.
I have a pavilion style alts and adds with both floors shown in the same sheet view.
The existing floor area is slightly lower (300mm) than the new floor.

Room colour schemes show on the new higher floor area however I can't get the room colour schemes or coloured regions to show on the lower existing floor area.
The room colour schemes will howerver show temporariliy if I activate the existing floor slab by clicking on it.
Please see the attached image the lower activated pavilion is the problem area... once I click elsewhere the green bed 2 and grey extension at the end of the stairs returns to white.

I have used colour shcemes successfully on previous split level projects and have investigated all the view range options I can think of.

This project is quite urgent......

Advice as to what I am doing wrong will be most gratefully accepted.

many thanks

Hi friend..!
Well i have seen the image this is really different problem ,the only way that i find is that you should change the colour or meet with an architect.

It is better to use same color for floor and room to avoid splitting. This problem may be arise due to difference of dark and light colors. Try different combinations of color scheme.

As you said the existing floor area is slightly lower (300mm) than the new floor, I think you should level that first using stones, tile, or marble like stuff. And if you are succeeded before then this project will also go fine.
Have a Good Day !
