Profound statements

Postby corinoco » 20 Jun 2012, 18:27

A colleague said to me a few minutes ago:

Revit is great at drawing; but Autocad teaches you how to draft.

And you know what? I think I agree.

Also: is it just me, or is the RUGS forum a strange, empty land full of tumbleweeds these days?

Hmmm, if you really want to learn how to draft you need a drawing board and a pencil. Then you have to think about every line and why you are laying it down.

True, very true. Then move onto Autocad. Then Revit. Then... what's next?
