CURVED BEAM WITH BEAM SYSTEM PURLINS

Postby Tarek Partridge » 25 Feb 2009, 11:39

Im sure some has come across this when you have a curved beam and you need you purlins to follow the beam profile.
I have set up the purlins as a beam system.

You will have to model all the purlins individually and change each purlins rotation to achieve the end result you are after. You will not be able to do this as a beam system. Also revit won't allow you to array the purlins either as the rotation of each purlins changes from the host object.
