Renamed 3D views lose viewpoints

Postby Roberto Pachon » 18 Jul 2007, 17:46

I renamed four 3D views in Revit 2008 to show an isometric view each. One for each corner of the project.

When I printed a set a few days later, all four isometric views were showing exactly the same view. (Four copies of the same view).

I have already fixed them a couple of times but they seem to reset themselves to a common viewpoint after a while.

At least the views with perspectives remain static.

You will need to click the little save icon in the dynamically modify view flyout, next to the reset view button. press F8 to get the flyout

Thanks Toby. I did it and I had to give a name to each view saved.
No idea how you can use that name later or rename it if needed.

Anyway, that was a good tip but doesn't explain the auto-resetting of my views.
