We will be welcoming Richard Taylor (Ideate Inc), all the way from Boston, USA. Richard was part of the early development team at Revit Technology Corporation before Autodesk took over Revit; he then worked at Autodesk for many years on the development of Revit - so here is your opportunity to ask questions on the history of Revit!

Richard will be here to talk to us about:
“Enhancing your Revit Data Management with Ideate BIMLink & Ideate Sticky”
A Revit project is a complex database made up of hundreds of thousands of elements that work best if the data is clean, properly organized, and relevant. In this presentation, we will see how add-on applications for Revit can assist with Revit Data Management. Using Ideate Software's BIMLink and Sticky applications and combining that with Microsoft Excel, we will discover how to review and modify Revit project elements and include Excel data directly into the Revit project.

Tim Waldock will then show examples of how this process has been used in the building industry to streamline the BIM process, with a live demo in Excel and Revit
